About the Role:
Join a dynamic and rapidly expanding technology company in London as a Financial Controller. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and operations of the business. This position offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence key financial decisions in a high-growth environment.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the development and maintenance of the company's budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Oversee cash flow management, including working capital optimisation and treasury functions, to maintain financial stability.
- Audit & Compliance: Coordinate the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to financial processes and systems, driving efficiency and scalability within the finance function.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and product development, to provide financial insights that support business growth.
Qualifications
Candidate Profile:
- Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with significant post-qualification experience in a similar role
- Experience: Proven track record in financial management within a technology or high-growth sector, with experience in SaaS or digital business models.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in financial reporting and accounting software; experience with ERP systems and automation tools is advantageous.
- Analytical Abilities: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
