Following a recent investment from a leading healthcare-focused PE firm, we are now entering a period of accelerated expansion, operational enhancement, and digital transformation.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Chief Financial Officer to join the senior leadership team. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the private equity sponsors, the CFO will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of the business, enhancing financial performance, and preparing the company for future value creation events such as bolt-on acquisitions, refinancing, or exit.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the finance function, including FP&A, financial control, and commercial finance

Partner with the CEO and Board on strategic planning, investment decisions, and long-term value creation

Drive financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and operational performance monitoring

Establish robust financial controls, processes, and systems to support scale and regulatory compliance

Oversee PE investor reporting, board packs, and covenant management

Support and lead M&A activity, including deal evaluation, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration

Drive cost efficiency, margin improvement, and working capital optimisation

Act as a key voice in executive leadership on matters of risk, governance, and financial strategy
Candidate Profile

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience

Proven experience as CFO or senior finance leader in a PE-backed or fast-growing healthcare or multi-site business

Strong commercial and strategic mindset with the ability to influence across operational and investor stakeholders

Track record of building and leading high-performing finance teams in complex environments

Hands-on experience with M&A, integration, and exit planning (e.g. trade sale, secondary PE, IPO)

Deep understanding of UK healthcare services, regulatory frameworks, and commissioning structures (NHS/private) is highly desirable
