Job Title: Financial Controller – Property Sector (Full-Time or Fractional)
Location: London (Central/West/North West areas) – Hybrid accepted
Salary: £70,000–£90,000 FTE (Pro‑rata if fractional) + discretionary bonus
Contract: Permanent, with flexibility for 3–5 days/week working available
About the Company
Join a fast-growing, entrepreneurial property investment and management firm operating across multiple SPVs. You'll support a portfolio of residential, commercial, and mixed-use assets in and around London. This is a high-profile role offering both strategic influence and hands-on involvement.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee full financial operations — prepare monthly management accounts, board-level reporting, and cash flow forecasting across multiple entities/SPVs

Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly reforecasts, and variance analysis for property revenue and expense lines

Manage service charge accounting, rent roll reconciliation, and tenant ledger accuracy

Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and lenders to support statutory accounts preparation, audits, VAT, ATED, and corporation tax filings

Ensure robust financial controls, intercompany reconciliations, and proper documentation across entities

Supervise or coordinate any outsourced bookkeeping support and handle payroll, creditor/debtor control, and bank transactions

Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and ad‑hoc modelling to inform business strategy
Essential Qualifications & Experience

Proficient in Xero, Sage, and advanced Excel; experience with group accounting and SPV structures is highly advantageous

Commercially minded, detail-driven, and able to effectively liaise with non-finance teams and senior stakeholders

Familiarity with property finance tools like Yardi, MRI, or Re‑Leased

Background in family offices or small portfolio investment structures that include service charge and tax complexities
