They are seeking a visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with expertise in financial strategy and a deep understanding of technology, particularly in Web3 and AI industries. The CFO will be a key member of the executive team, reporting directly to the CEO and responsible for steering the financial planning and management to foster growth, mitigating risks, and ensuring the financial health of the company.
This is a part-time and hybrid role 2 or 3 days per week based in London.
- Develop and refine financial strategies in alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
- Lead the financial planning, risk management, and analysis to support the executive team's decision-making process.
- Oversee the finance department to ensure proper management of the company's finances and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with other C-level executives to identify and pursue strategic financial opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Manage relationships with investors, financial institutions, auditors, and other financial partners.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical financial practices.
- Drive the company's funding strategy and manage capital requests and budgeting processes.
- Implement robust financial systems and processes to enhance transparency and control.
- Proven experience as CFO or relevant role within a technology-focused industry, preferably with exposure to Web3 and AI technologies.
- Strong understanding of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Proficient in the use of financial management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field; MSc/MBA or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Public Accountant CPA) is preferred.
