Part-Time FPandA Lead – 1 Day per Week (Flexible) – City of London
Description
FD Capital is supporting a growing, purpose-led technology services business in the City of London in the search for an experienced FP&A professional. The role is one day per week in the office, with flexibility on days.
You will lead the business's planning, forecasting and performance analysis, and turn the numbers into clear insight for the leadership team. You will also help develop a small finance team.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities
- Own the budgeting, forecasting and business planning cycle, including a robust integrated three-statement model.
- Build cash flow and runway forecasting to support funding decisions and investor discussions.
- Analyse performance in a services model, covering margins, utilisation, pricing and cost drivers.
- Prepare scenario analysis and financial modelling for strategic decisions, including M&A and transaction opportunities.
- Produce clear, insightful management and board reporting.
- Coach the finance team and improve their analytical and reporting capability.
Qualifications
About you
- A qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), or someone with a strong FP&A career background.
- Senior FP&A experience in growth-stage, investor-backed or services businesses.
- Exposure to M&A, due diligence or transaction modelling is highly desirable.
- Advanced financial modelling skills and a commercial, business-partnering approach.
- Able to explain complex numbers simply to non-finance stakeholders.
- Able to attend the City of London office one day per week, with flexibility on which days.
