About the Opportunity
We are supporting the same fast-scaling defence technology organisation in hiring a Financial Controller to strengthen the finance function during a period of rapid growth and international expansion.
This is a hands-on role with strong visibility across the business and direct exposure to senior leadership.
The Role
Working closely with the CFO and global finance team, you will play a key role in financial reporting, operational finance, and ensuring accurate and timely financial processes across the organisation.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial reports for global leadership and Group CFO
- Work closely with supply chain teams on invoice processing and payments within ERP systems
- Support tax filings and corporate compliance requirements
- Produce and manage project-level cash flow reporting
- Monitor project profitability and financial performance
- Support the setup of new entities across jurisdictions
- Manage payroll processes and external providers
- Oversee invoicing, accounts payable, and receivable processes
- Support audit processes and liaise with external accountants
Qualifications
andidate Profile
We are keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager
- Strong grounding in financial reporting and operational finance
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling environment
Desirable:
- Experience with Business Central ERP
- Exposure to defence, aerospace, or manufacturing environments
