The Opportunity

FD Capital is recruiting on behalf of a well-established, large-scale organisation operating in the real estate, housing management, and facilities management space for an experienced fractional CFO to step into and continue the responsibilities of the outgoing CFO, while developing an internal successor into the role.

The business's current Group Financial Controller has been earmarked as FD-designate, but needs structured development and support to be ready to take on the full CFO/FD role over an estimated 18-month period. You will run the CFO brief day-to-day — owning board reporting, financial strategy, and senior stakeholder relationships — while mentoring the FD-designate alongside you, so the business retains continuity of leadership throughout the transition and beyond.
