Interim Fractional Financial Controller

About the Opportunity
Alongside the CFO appointment, we are supporting the same technology group in securing interim Financial Controller support to ensure continuity across the finance function during a transition period.
This is a hands-on, operational role with immediate impact, supporting a multi-entity international business.
The Role
Working closely with the outgoing and incoming Financial Controller, as well as the Fractional CFO, you will take ownership of day-to-day finance operations across the Group.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes across multiple entities
- Prepare management accounts and variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
- Coordinate payroll (including US-based employees)
- Support handover between outgoing and incoming Financial Controller
- Ensure continuity and accuracy across finance operations during transition
Qualifications
Candidate Profile
We are interested in candidates who bring:
- Experience operating as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager
- Strong experience in multi-entity environments
- Hands-on capability across management accounts and operational finance
- Ability to work at pace and manage competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset
Desirable:
- Experience supporting international groups (UK + US)
- Prior exposure to integration or transitional environments
