Part-Time London Finance Director
Description
A technology startup is seeking an FD on a part-time basis, initially one day per week, but increasing as the business scales up.  It's a seed stage startup with HMRC SEIS clearance, they have attracted initial investors but now want to pitch actively to PE Houses and Venture capitalists. Startups and SMEs frequently rely on outsourced CFO to build robust financial processes and investor-ready reporting.
The client is based in Central London, but the role is initially offered on a remote working basis. A London based candidate is preferred, but not essential as long as candidates are able to meet periodically.Companies seeking strategic financial leadership without hiring full-time executives often turn to fractional CFO services.
The business operates in the Business Intelligence niche and has high growth and significant growth potential.
The founder has a strong track record of previous online success.
Responsibilities
- Developing and refining the current pitch deck and forecast model
- Pitching to PE houses and venture capitalists
- Key member of Senior management team
- Day to day accounting using Xero, until accounts person is recruited.
Qualifications
- ICAEW / CIMA preferred.
- Graduate.
