Part-Time FD Cannock
Description
Our client is a Fintech business, based in Cannock, Staffordshire. They are looking for a part-time FD for between 1 and 2 days per week.
The role will suit a candidate with previous technology experience, and desirable but not essential is some appreciation of coding.
This is a remote working role, but the client prefers a candidate in the Midlands as there will be occassional office based working and meetings at short notice.
The role is likely to be inside IR35
Responsibilities
Key Duties Will Encompass
- Ensuring the finance function is working efficient and effectively across the team,
- Ensuring effective and efficient financial and operational controls and business processes across the organisation
- Production of timely, accurate and meaningful financial reports and analysis
- Preparation of monthly management accounts within timescales to include variance analysis
- Business modelling including budgeting and forecasting and co-ordinating the financial reporting and management
- Financial analysis, highlighting variances and identifying risks and opportunities to improve financial results
