Part-Time FD - London - AIM Flotation
Description
Our client is an early stage business with plans for a future AIM flotation, they are recruiting a part-time FD to work 2 days per week.  They operate in the Environmental services niche.
The role is based onsite in central London.
The role will support a newly formed finance team to add stability and leadership, while ensuring reporting and financial rigor is upheld.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.) with significant commercial finance and business partnering experience
- Strong communication; able to confidently partner at all levels of the business and motivate teams
- Agile and comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Hands-on in nature; able and willing to pull data from the system where required
Responsibilities
Reporting into the CEO, the expectation is that you would be responsible for the following:-
- Managing AP/AR and financial reporting teams
- Monthly/Quarterly reporting and ad-hoc requests to investors
- Create and maintain the manual of controls, policies and procedures and ensure compliance with desired internal controls standards
- Preparation and reporting of rolling cash flow forecasts and daily cash management to meet targets and work with funding structure
- Participation in the development of the business systems
Qualifications
Candidate Profile:
