Job Title: Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: Hybrid – London (remote/office) with on-site attendance in Warwickshire (3 days per week)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Fractional CFO to provide strategic financial leadership and hands-on support to our growing business. This is a hybrid role requiring a mix of remote work, occasional London meetings, and regular on-site attendance in Warwickshire (3 days per week). The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to the Board and senior leadership team, driving financial strategy, ensuring robust financial controls, and supporting the company’s long-term growth ambitions.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the company’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, providing insight and challenge where necessary.
- Deliver clear, actionable financial reporting to the Board and senior stakeholders.
- Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and funding requirements.
- Support decision-making with commercial and financial analysis.
- Implement and maintain strong financial controls, processes, and compliance frameworks.
- Advise on capital structure, investment decisions, and risk management.
- Act as a mentor and partner to the finance team, ensuring operational excellence and professional development.
- Engage with external stakeholders including auditors, investors, and financial institutions
Qualifications
Requirements
- Proven track record as a CFO, Finance Director, or senior financial leader, ideally with experience in SMEs, scale-ups, or private equity–backed businesses.
- Strong technical finance expertise with the ability to balance strategic insight and operational detail.
- Excellent commercial acumen and ability to influence decision-making at Board level.
- Experience in growth environments, funding rounds, and scaling operations desirable.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across the business.
- Comfortable with a hybrid working model, including on-site attendance in Warwickshire three days per week.
