Job Title: Part-Time Financial Director

We are a growing European yoga studio brand with a strong reputation for creating inclusive, holistic wellness experiences. As we expand into the UK market, we’re looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Part-Time Financial Director to guide our financial planning and performance during this exciting phase of growth.
Role Overview:
You will act as the senior financial advisor to the management team, helping us navigate key financial decisions as we scale. You'll work closely with our accountants and internal teams to interpret monthly financial data, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure financial health across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly Management Accounts:
- Review monthly management accounts prepared by our external accountants.
- Analyze and interpret financial results, identifying trends, variances, and risks.
- Present actionable insights and tailored recommendations to department heads.
- Budgeting:
- Support the development of annual and departmental budgets.
- Collaborate with studio managers and leadership to align budgets with operational goals.
- Monitor budget performance and advise on adjustments where necessary.
- Forecasting:
- Lead short- and long-term financial forecasting.
- Build models that reflect business performance and growth scenarios in both existing and new markets.
- Help the team plan for capital needs, investment, and expansion.
- Finance Strategy & Oversight:
- Advise on financial planning and risk management.
- Assist in aligning financial goals with the broader business strategy.
- Support UK-specific financial compliance, tax, and reporting requirements where applicable.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- 5+ years experience in a senior finance role; prior experience as an FD, Head of Finance, or similar.
- Strong understanding of SME environments, ideally in hospitality, wellness, or retail sectors.
- Confident working with management accounts, financial modelling, and advising non-finance departments.
- Proactive, analytical, and commercially-minded.
- Familiarity with UK accounting/taxation requirements; pan-European experience is a plus.
- Interest in wellness, yoga, or mission-driven businesses is highly desirable.
