Job Description: Financial Controller / Finance Director (First FD Role)
Location: Richmond, London
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Business Type: Investment Club / Alternative Investments

About the Company
We are a fast-growing investment club business based in Richmond, offering members curated investment opportunities, proprietary deal analysis, and a structured platform for collaborative investing. As we scale, we are appointing our first senior finance leader to build and lead the finance function, strengthen governance, and support strategic decision-making.
Role Overview
This is a pivotal hire for the business: a hands-on Financial Controller / Finance Director who will own all financial operations, build robust systems, and provide strategic insight to support continued growth. The ideal candidate will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and bring strong technical finance expertise, commercial acumen, and—ideally—experience with investment clubs, SPVs, member-based investment structures, or alternative investment vehicles.
The role will evolve with the business, starting with ownership of core finance processes and maturing into a full Finance Director capacity as the team and complexity grow.
